LOW LEVEL LASER THERAPY
Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), also known as photobiomodulation, uses specific wavelengths of light to help reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and support the body's natural healing processes. Unlike surgical lasers, therapeutic lasers do not generate heat or damage tissue. Instead, they work at the cellular level by stimulating energy production within cells, helping tissues recover more efficiently.
Research has shown that LLLT may help improve pain and function in a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, particularly those involving inflammation, nerve irritation, and soft tissue injury.
At our office, laser therapy is used conservatively as an adjunct to chiropractic care when we believe it may improve your outcome. It is often combined with treatments such as chiropractic adjustments, Graston® IASTM, therapeutic exercise, and rehabilitation to support recovery and help patients return to activity more comfortably.
